Chinese Raiders Able to Enter WoW Classic AQ40 Before the Ten Hour War Ends
03.08.2020 um 20:12
With Chinese Classic WoW servers resetting earlier than the rest of the world, they've already managed to ring the gong and begin the Ten Hour War event in which the Qiraji forces storm out of the Temple to face the Might of Kalimdor. Although normally players are meant to wait 10 hours until the completion of the war before being able to actually enter the new raids and thereby giving other Scarab Lords a chance to ring the gong as well, that did not seem to be the case on those Chinese servers and players were able to enter the raid immediately, finding the place riddled with bugs both intended and not!
relayed on Reddit
, after being repeatedly disconnected, the Chinese players could no longer zone into the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj, though they did manage to
kill the Prophet Skeram and get Battleguard Sartura below 50% health
. The event was
broadcast on the Chinese streaming service Douyu
, and Drast of <Salad Bakers>
rehosted the video
on their own twitch channel, embedded below.
Access to Ahn'Qiraj now appears to be restricted while the Ten Hour War event continues, but in the video you can see numerous unintended issues within the instance: mobs getting stuck in walls, Prophet Skeram illusions having different health values, and players being able to dispel the mind controls. Hopefully the forced disconnects and closing off the instance will give Blizzard time to fix these issues before the instance is actually meant to be opened for Chinese servers about 8 hours from now (approx 2am PST).
Keep in mind that the rest of the world will not be able to access Ahn'Qiraj until after the normal reset, following which they will need to run Blackwing Lair a second time, ring the gong, and wait out the Ten Hour War as originally intended.
